Shane Cherry is an LGBTQIA+ advocate, community builder, and nerdy fashion icon with two decades of experience creating fun and engaging spaces for gamers of all skill levels and interests. Shane Cherry Presents offers crowd-building services through a commitment to including everyone who wants to join in on any given party. Shane runs 4 weekly events in New York City, nonprofit organization NYC Gaymers, and special events. He is an all around entertainer capable of singing, hosting, and setting up tech as needed.
Arcade at Rockbar
Every Saturday 3pm-9pm
Rockbar (185 Christopher St)
Shane's longest running weekly event, Arcade, has been providing a space to play board games and video games for 15+ years. This chill event is great for mingling and meeting new people. Rockbar is a 21+ venue.
Level Up! at Atlas Social Club
Every Tuesday 8pm-1am
Atlas Social Club (753 9th Avenue)
This weekly event features board games and video games, and has become a truly competitive Smash Bros night. A breakout room is present for board games and often includes larger social games. Atlas Social Club is a 21+ venue.
Game Night at Frames
Every Thursday 5pm-10pm
Frames Spare Lounge (entrance at 40th and 9th)
This happy hour event features an expanded collection of video games, $1 chicken wings, half price well drinks, karaoke, and giant Jenga. It's a great way to start an early weekend or night out. Frames is an all ages venue.

Looking for a teambuilding experience? Shane can offer an engaging experience through video games, board games, and other well-natured competitions that encourage your team to solve problems together and bond. He's also a great host for a show or karaoke night.
Special Events, Speaking, and Consultation
In addition to weekly events, Shane also creates largescale specialized events such as the Mx. Nerd New York drag pageant and Flame Con's Gaymer Lounge. Additionally, Shane has presented at RuPaul's Drag Con and Gaymer X East, appears in gaming documentary Gaming in Color, and consulted with independent developers of both board games and video games.
NYC Gaymers
Founded in 2020, NYC Gaymers is a registered nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting gamers within the LGBTQIA+ community. NYCG creates safe community spaces (both virtual and physical) and pushes for equitable treatment and representation within the gaming industry. Shane is currently the chair of the Fun(d) Development Committee.
The Legend of Nat 1 Podcast
The Legend of Nat 1 is a D&D and other TTRPG liveplay podcast featuring a cast from among the queer community, where Shane serves as on-air personality and audio editor. Known for irreverent takes, weird or gross humor, and dad jokes galore, the show is really just a group of friends having a great time playing a game together and inviting you to listen. In addition to D&D 5e, the podcast also features some indy games, including one game created by Shane himself. But maybe don't listen to this podcast at work...
